As part of my senior undergraduate thesis, I constructed a sculpture out of roadmaps that was displayed in front of two videos.

In order to produce the sculpture, I spent 3 months cutting out only the roads from the state maps of California, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. I then cut steel rods that I could drape the web of roads over to produce a mountain-like topography.

The two videos displayed alongside the sculpture included one of a bug walking along a computer cord, while the other was screenshot within google earth.
